How points add up

• Each forum topic earns 2 points.
• Each forum reply earns 2 points.
• Each upvote received earns 0.5 points.
• Each published article on the main site earns 10 points.

Removing an upvote also removes its 0.5 points from the author’s total. Topic and reply points may take time to appear; upvote changes are reflected directly in the total.

Ranks progress through these levels as your point total grows:

• Dew: 0–14 points; Droplet: 15–34; Puddle: 35–68; Crisp Air: 69–102.
• First Frost: 103–154; Overnight Freeze: 155–231; Ice Cube: 232–348.
• Ice Tray: 349–522; Bag of Ice: 523–784; Ice Maker: 785–1,177.
• Cooler: 1,178–1,767; Fridge: 1,768–2,651; Freezer: 2,652–3,977; Ice Machine: 3,978–5,967.
• Walk-In Freezer: 5,968–8,951; Frozen Foods Isle: 8,952–13,427; Ice Rink: 13,428–20,142; Flurry: 20,143–30,213.
• Snowstorm: 30,214–45,321; Ski Resort: 45,322–67,982; Blizzard: 67,983–101,973.
• Glacier: 101,974–152,960; Antarctica: 152,961–229,441; Ice Age: 229,442–344,163; Upper Atmosphere: 344,164–516,245; Frozen Deep Space: 516,246 points or more.
