Notifications help you keep up with conversations that involve you and the festivals you follow.

You may receive a notification when someone replies to a topic you are subscribed to, mentions you in a forum post, or starts a topic about a festival you subscribed to. Open the notifications page from the community navigation to see the items and visit the related discussion.

Mention a member by typing @ and their name in a post or reply. When you reply to a topic, you can be subscribed to it so you hear about later replies. To hear about new festival topics, subscribe to that festival when the option is available. Notifications cover these community activities; they are not a general alert for every post.
